Wondering about the bridge on my CBG, it is a free floating one but the back is lifting off the guitar and tilting towards the nut. The bridge itself is not centered in the free floating bridge which I think is the problem? If I turn it around do you think it would cause other problems?

  • With floating bridges, it’s best to take the excess from the bottom? A sander works well( belt, orbital, wheel) otherwise you can glue sandpaper to something flat, then sand the bridge until it’s flat?
    • Thanks for the info. I did swap back to front and it seemed to correct the tilt of the bridge and I was able to intonate correctly. I'll play for a while before deciding to replace.
