This speaker cabinet is made from pallet wood. The rusty hardware was from a very old footlocker type of trunk. The speaker is from an old M series Hammond organ, it is a 12", 40W, 16 ohm speaker. I power this with an 8ohm Kustom amp head that was once a bass combo amp. The sound is clean. As you can see, it's an open front cabinet. The panels behind the speaker are angled toward the openings on both sides allowing all of the sound to leave the front of the cabinet. The whole cabinet is glued and screwed and is very solid. My combination of this cabinet and bass amp make for a great acoustic rig.
