Looks like you have a cnc machine the way you makin them, i still do it the old way...lol. Dremel carving each one...yeah i`ve been getting some great feedback from my customers wanting to know whats in store for 2013 on new bridge designs. I tell them hold on cause i got some awesome lookin ones coming out....lol. I always beleived if your going to make a great lookin build you should have a great lookin bridge too. Only adds to the look of the build...it`s all about the details one puts on there work.
Rod piezo bridges for Az. Cigar Box Guitars, here`s one of my regular customers. These were custom made for their travel models of guitar and bass. The guitar model gets the slanted saddle the bass the straight saddle plus those saddles are a bit beefer.
Just a question Roy how would you adjust that bridge, say if one wanted to adjust the action. As with a true rod piezo application...bridge-slot-rod-saddle the action can be adjusted with either slotting the saddle or sanding it down a bit. With mine i use only bone saddles just for the reason. The true application calls for string pressure on the rod , looks like yours is more a piezo cable in that sleeve. I`ve used just about all the piezo`s known, disc`s, rod`s, cables, film and the true string pressure rods are still the best with the film running right behind. Good luck on sales !
