I am looking for a little guidance on finishing my fret ends. I have used both fret wire and 6D nails. They sit down fine and my spacing is good. But I am really struggling to file the ends down nicely.
I generally have two related challenges
Read more…I was organizing my mini-shop this weekend and needed a place to stack my paltry collection of boxes. I had an old pallet outside. So I pulled most of the bottom slats off and leaned it against the wall.

Read more…In my last build I decided to tackle getting a decent height/break angle at the bridge. All my prior builds have been neck-straight-through-with-1/4"-bolt-for-a-bridge. But I am reluctant to cut my necks. Don't ask me why. I don't know.
