I like old-timey things. I don't play guitar. I play keys, accordion and recorders. I am looking to be a one-man band at the local Renaissance festival, so everything has to be wood. I don't have a wood shop. Can you make me that DIY food pedal and I will buy it from you? I was hoping one would be in the shop so I could purchase it.

Yea, a wooden kick pedal is a bit of an oddity, wich is why you don’t see many? I would scout someone in the classifieds in your area, show em the plans, that’s not too hard for a wood worker or handyman? Good luck on that! I’ve also seen people stomp on an empty crate without any amplification, just a thought?
Rebecca are you talking about a stompbox or stomper foot drum? You can find them all over the net, but you don’t need a wood shop to make instruments, half the builders here work off the kitchen table :) Also there is plenty of YouTube videos of how to build? Here is a kit from cbgitty, it has everything but the box as you can use any kind? It also has a preamp, wich is a must if you want control over the sound? cheers :)
