They have a legit and amazing history--and prove the indomitable human spirit for making joy and beauty--for instance, many home-made instruments, and in particular cigar box guitars, were created by kids and adults alike who could not (or perhaps cannot) afford manufactured guitars... The sound is awesome, and the spirit is what truly counts (not to mention, they're cool!).
