The only instrument I can play with any competency is a baritone horn and I haven’t played since high school. Now that I’m older and would like to take up music again playing a brass instrument doesn’t seem practical. I love the blues and bluegrass. I have 2 friends that play guitar very well. I am interested in learning to play and the Cigar Box Guitar has many qualities that make it appealing. There is a personalized crafting aspect to it. The musicology behind playing isn’t overwhelming. It also appears to be an affordable hobby. It seems like a good place to start for a beginner that wants to get the basics of string playing down.
