I've always loved music, I've played in a band in my youth, I've sung in a choir, but I never really understood the theory of it all. Everything always seemed so high minded. Plus I might be rhythmically challenged. Upon seeing cigar box guitars I saw that music doesn't have to be that way ( not that cbg exclude the theoretical musician). And that not only music, but even making instruments are actually within reach of us mortals. Cbg show that music doesn't have to be complicated to be complex, honest and deeply human.
