I love gritty, down home blues especially with a slide! I also love the DIY nature of CBG's and as long time woodworker who's been playing guitar for 20+ years, I've been wanting to combine the hobbies so I started with a simple lapsteel. Now I'm itching to build a few CBG's for myself and some friends. Plus I've been putting a lot of time into getting better a slide guitar and open tunings lately. Since the pandemic started I've rekindled my love of playing and working on guitars. The past year I have spent a considerable amount of time getting better at both playing and working on guitars. As someone who loves to build things, I have plans to start building my own instruments and eventually a couple small amps. I look forward to joining this community! I've heard great things about it from other forums. David
