If you enjoy three string guitars, this is the place!

Hi Folks, This is the group to share everything about the three string guitar...it is only about 3 stringers, not that there is a problem with 6 string guitars, those are cool, and 4 stringers are nifty too...but this is a place to share ideas and post anything and everything 3 string.

There is another website on the net that is all 3 string info .... come visit it sometime, just Google "3 string guitar" or visit 3-string-guitar.com.

Get out of the rutt, play a three string!

You can try to get longer screws, they do sell them in a longer allen head version, I think for fenders, I have also had that same problem

Hard tail bridge screws: Anybody have issues with the elevation screws for saddles falling out? I'm trying to figure out something that I can use to keep them put but still allow adjustment. LocTite purple might work but I would rather do something DIY.

1930's Three-String Cigar Box Guitar
It's a 3 string, look closely at the headstock, one tuner is strait up from behind, and checkout the fretboard. I bet this was a well playing instrument. To learn more about the history of the

Amazing first build.

I suspect you have a bit of craftsman in your back story.

My first build-

\uap>Body is a 9 ball pool rack, neck is a field hockey stick.

\uap>Sound hole cover are two halves of a silver serviette rack. String base cover is the end plate from a silver after dinner mint rack. Bridge is a bone section from a bangle and pegs are from a bass guitar. The pickup is a speaker from one of those headphones handed out to listen to movies on aircraft, mounted directly under the sound hole.

Do whatever works for you. A piano player uses both hands. Woodwind players use both hands. It is all about how you train your hands to play.
