thought about how i was using modern mics and effects, mainly distortion and reverb, to record with and it seemed the next step to me was hand built microphones to record with -

a few of my first mic builds

#3 / coffee can mic with suspension mount - using a 2 x 3 1/2 inch speaker as the "mic"#2 / bud light "tall boy"" beer can mic with standard mount - using a 20mm piezo as the "mic"#1 / milwaukee's best beer can mic with standard mount - using a 1 1/4 inch headphone speaker as the "mic"videos & or sound samples are on my page if you wanna check out how they sound

Mojobone Works...Bone Harp Mic....carved cow bone and exotic paduak, use an old rotary telephone element for the mic...sounds great!
