Yes a festival would be a lot of work but worth it. Many hand make light work.
I'm working on a stand up bass. My first attempt. Stay tuned.

I'm thinking about a bass too. I'd like to see your project.
Regarding a festival, I was thinking about starting small, maybe just a meet and greet and some playing music together. Keep it informal and simple at first. Let it grow on it's own?

Welcome, Mike. Unfortunately there is very little activity here. In my neck of the woods, ah I should say desert (SE Washington) I know of only one other builder. Never met him, but heard of him.
I am currently into Ukuleles and am working on a couple. I don't play, just build for fun and give as gifts.
I just checked out your page. The instruments you have built are awesome. Nice work.

Ukes are mostly what I've built, mostly due to the interest in Uke's in my family and by default because of the size of boxes I have. My first CBG was "full size", but after that the Uke's started coming out. If you haven't check out my page and let me know what you think.

Hi Mike,
Welcome. Lets get something going out here. I'm from Hailey, Id.
Looking for other builders.

Hey Wyatt,
It would be a ton of work but I wonder if a NW festival is possible.
