HERE is a great string tension calculator. This string tension calculator will allow you to see how much tension your strings exert on your CBG neck and CBG body. It works with 6 and 12 string guitars, Nashville-strung guitars, mandolins, mandolas, unison-strung Irish bouzoukis, long and short citterns, and a few others.

This calculator will be able to help you in determining the type and amount of internal bracing required for that special project...
