I was ready to throw out an old hack saw blade but then I took a closer look at it. The blade was worn out in the middle, not the last few inches on each end near the saw frame. So , I took the blade, snapped the blade in half in my vice ( just a few wiggles back and forth and it broke in two) and wrapped some tape around the dull area to make a handle. Now I have two handy little saws! Works great for cutting boxes for the neck and many other uses.

Yup!
We tape 'em up quick for odd little tasks on the jobsites, to use in a tight space, to cut or use as a scraper.
...now you've got me to think I could also use try as the tines for a finger piano (kalimba).
Tnx!
