What a wonderful place this is! Used to play a bit of guitar and mandolin years ago and got to thinking recently that I'd kinda like to play some again, just for my own amusement and to annoy the dog. I had been thinking of a "regular" guitar but that just didn't seem to be the right thing to do. Ran across a reference to CBG's somewhere and that led to being here. This is perfect! I have been leaning toward simplifiying the things in my life and CBG's fit that bill perfectly. Never was that good a player anyhow but I could make what I called glorious noise. So I figure that whatever I do on a CBG is gonna be some glorious noise. Anywho, I got me a box and a stick and am gathering the other odds and ends, bits and bobs to make my first box with (notice I said first? I forsee others...just what I need, a new addiction, er, hobby). Been lurking here for a day and all I can say is wow! So much knowledge to gain...but I'm sure I'll have some dumb, simple question to come up with. With all that said, it's time to dive into the shed and see what else I can scrounge up for this. I'm stoked :)

Can't find the photos - maybe the dog ate them - its 2 in the morning where I live and nearly 30 degrees (C) - Only way to cool down is to get in the freezer. Still wouldn't pass up a chance to get at the Chili though.

The dog's half deaf so my work is cut out for me :) Just finished my first CBG last night, pictures are posted. It's snowing like crazy here, been picking all afternoon, I've got a pot of paint-stripper chili on the stove and...where is that dog?...never around when you want him...

So, have you annoyed the dog yet or still working on it :)
