Hello Cigar Box Nation, my name is Joe Nanzer, I hail from a town about 2 hours west of Chicago. Over the last few weeks I have been completing my first build. A three string totally acoustic slide cigar box guitar. I got it stringed up and had been playing it for a week and decided to do a few improvements on a couple of things I'm waiting for the glue to set and hopefully tomorrow, it should be good to go. I have also started my second cbg which will be a four string with a piezo pickup (CB Gitty). My hope's are to keep the guitar action low but still be fret less and still be able to fret notes. I am only in my first month of doing this but it is definitely a fun hobby. Any hints or pointers be sure to let me know.

Welcome Joe. The best tip I can give you is, if you have a question, ask. Someone will have an answer, or point you towards it.
Happy building.
