Very new to stringed Intrument

Hi all ,very new to CBG so new that I only found out about it yesterday after watching Seasick Steve on youtube !!!!  totally hooked on the sound !!man its soooo cool ,,So here I am soaking up as much as I can !!,I've tried to play 6 string  guitar, hopeless !! short fingers lol ,so 3 string CBG  could work for me ,I do play harp ,can't read music so play by ear !!  I'm in NewZealand ,have phoned heaps of music shops to find a CBG but no luck!!  so thinking of making one ,,,So thats me ,look forward to learning as much as I can !!

    Welcome, and enjoy your journey. You've come to one of the right places. If you're on Facebook the Cigar Box Guitar group is another good resource.
    You've already got one thing right - it's not about buying one, not if you're handy and have space to work. It's about building one.
    Then another.
    Then another.
    And so on. They're addictive.
    For myself, at least, they're lots of fun to play, too.
