All joking aside, I live in Northern California with my wife and kids. My wife is the true musician of the family (she has been playing piano since she was 3 and just opened up a piano school in our home), but I've always loved music and I've been trying to learn more. I have been singing for a number of years and I started playing 6-string guitar a little over a year ago. I'm also an incurable DIY fiend, so when I discovered CBG's and the possibility of playing an instrument that I made myself, I knew I couldn't pass it up. I'm scraping together the materials to make my first CBG, and I hope to have a working one within a few weeks' time. If any of y'all want to ask me something, go ahead and fire away.

Hi Phillip, I'm a 72 year-old Aries who still hasn't learned how to play a three string fretless well. Doesn't keep me from building CBGs and having fun. Welcome to the addiction joys of building home made instruments. Don't worry, you can quit anytime you want to, but it's more fun to keep building these things.
