A few tornadoes around Dallas-Forth Worth makes for a perfect time to introduce myself! Hello Everyone, you may call me Enfield, I would classify myself as an engineer-artist-musician, in that order too. I have recently discovered the world of CBG's. I already have built my first and second 3-Stringer in a matter of 2 months and I know it wont stop there. I am going to use this hobby as a new creative outlet, and I look forward to what I can come up with! I look forward to being a contributing member to the site, and to the the future support, and feedback.
Cheers

First, we hope you are safe.
Second, why Enfield? The first thing I thought of is Royal Enfield motorcycles. I bought a new 2007 Bullet 500 Classic and rode it for a few years.
Welcome.
Thanks Jon, it seems the worst has passed.
Nice bike btw, I had a chance to enjoy an older bullet turned into a cafe racer for a weekend while I was visiting overseas.
You are spot on about the Royal Enfield reference. Not that long ago, a side project of mine consisted of a buddy of mine who happens to be a professional musician but more importantly British, and me being Indian, and both of us being gear-heads. So the project was dubbed The Royal Enfields, a two person blues band. The name came about and stuck, Tex is from being a native Texan, all in all I think it just sounds cool!
I'm 58 now and started riding off road at 8. I've owned maybe 25 motorcycles over all those years. I've never got as much reaction as I did when I rode that great looking and sounding Royal Enfield 500. You literally have to allow more riding time to allow for the guys running up to you asking about the bike.
I miss it. But I now have a three string fretted CBG to play around with.
Take care.
