Hi All, I got introduced to CBG's recently by accident, a friend plays the blues & did a gig at a local club. He had a CGB & it had a great sound. Another friend in the audience remarked that he had a pile of cigar boxes in his attic from when he worked at a casino. He gave me a pile & my son & i got started.My son already plays the guitar but i have never got to grips with it being left handed & a bit challenged by arthritis.

A few days later & my lad has a 4 string & i have a 3 string, both use piezo rod pick ups & sound great, at the age of 52 i find i have discovered something that i can play. As im a boatbuilder by trade i have a ready supply of good timber & my first one has a pitchpine neck made from a lump of timber i fished out of the creek 40 years ago.

Already there are three more in progress in the workshop. Im afraid i got it bad!
