New CBG addict

Hi all! I recently found cigar box guitars on YouTube and fell in live with the sound. I've been a guitar player for almost 20 years and have never heard CBG's until recently. Jay Patton turned me on to this amazing site. All the info has been really helpful. I'm getting ready to order parts for my first build and I can't wait to get started. BTW I'm 35 and live in Ohio

    Welcome arnie hope you enjoy the site . Their are some great interesting folks on here. It still amazes me though that someone eve n after twenty years of playing guitar has only recently discovered cbg.

      I know lol. I had heard Billy Gibbons talk about them years ago on Howard Stern but I had to go to work before he played his and I kind of forgot about it until I found a YouTube video. I guess I shouldn't say I had no idea what they were, I just hadn't heard one
