Hey all!
Excited to be part of this community, Finishing up my first guitar today and already have the second in the works.. If any of you guys in the Twin Cities would like to share where you're sourcing lumber/parts I'd appreciate it!

Welcome to the addiction, there's no cure so just keep happily building! Learning to play them is quite easy, if it sounds good to you it's right, there's also alot of how to play stuff on here and you tube. I'm from Maine and we call Lewiston and Auburn the twin cities. I order parts from E bay and CB Gitty, lumber from either Lowes or I salvage it at my transfer station job from furniture.
Amen. I just finished my first build, already on with the second.. There's something exceedingly satisfying about constructing a playable instrument. Sure wish I payed attention in shop class tho'.
Nothing like it! I just wish I had all the fancy saws we had in shop class!! Just wait everything will look like guitar parts hahahaha
Thanks. If I can build a decent git and learn how to play it I might take you up on it.
