Howdy from Sunny So. Cal, First Build!!!

Howdy everyone,

Yep, new here, and thanx for having me.  After a few years of collecting parts, I finally took the plunge and did my first build.  The fun part is the main components came from dear friends over time.  So every time I look at it, I see some pretty fantastic people in my head. 

The piezo pickup is in the shape of a burning R&J cigar. Looks pretty cool.  I am shocked at how well it keeps its tune. 

The amp is a battery powered Dano Honeytone stuffed into another cigar box.  Has belt clip so I can play on the run!

    Welcome to the addiction. Very nice builds. Chohiba and Padrone are my favorite boxes to build from.

      Thank you, Tim.  I can see why you call it the addiction.  I was super lucky to find that Cohiba box.  When I got the itch to collect parts, I approached my cigar smoking buddy and he just happened to have those two boxes on his desk.  Wabam, the addiction started.  The all wood construction and being well made sure helped.

      Thank you, Don.  I work on guitars every now and then.  That made the build a lot easier for me.  Loads of fun.  Why did I wait so long???
