Hi! I'm from Indiana and have been playing guitar for several years. Unfortunately, do to the demands of work (I'm an IT manager for a major defense contractor) and also going to school (finishing up my BS in August, then beginning my MBA), I find very little time to practice and play. Sooo, after seeing some CBGs on eBay, I got the urge to get one to play with in all of my "spare time!" I bought a single pick-up electric CBG 4-stringer (slide only), and have another on the way (dual pick-up, also slide only). As I've learned more about CBGs, I came to the realization that I want to be able to finger as well as slide, so I'm lookin' to add to my collection. My collection consists of 2 Ovation A/Es (an Elite 2078TX-5 and a Celebrity), an Alvarez RD-8 accoustic, a Washburn Rover, a Fender Strat, an Epoch LP (Les Paul knock-off) and a Lanikai Uke, in addition to the afore mentioned Boogie Box CBGs, made by Tio Ezra. Now if I can just find the time to play!
Looking forward to learning more about CBGs and how to play them, as well as getting to know the CBN community!

Welcome Doug! Glad to have you here in this great community. If you want to build a fretted CBG there's some great resources here to do that. (Or you can always buy one from one of the sellers. Ask around and someone should be able to recommend a good dealer.)
Also tons of resources in here on how to play. You've definitely come to the right place.
