I'm a newbie to you guys but have been learning to play a Daddy Mojo 5strg CBG which I picked up in the US back in 2007. (it's got a great rude pin-up on the back for inspiration, too!).
A mate in the band I'm playing bass with has just got hold of a 3 stringer and after about 2 seconds discussion I've decided that I'm going to build a CBBG to gig with.
I'll probably opt for 3 strings as I don't seem to use the top string on a conventional bass anyway.
I'll also be asking plenty of crazy questions in the future - please be patient with me - and any suggestions would be gratefully received.
