My wife gave me a copy (on request) of Mike Orr's "Handmade Music Factory" for Christmas in 2011, and I've been hooked ever since. My first build was an ironing board "lap" steel, and I've since completed (well, I'm still tweaking a bit) a cookie tin banjo, spike fiddle, canjo, fretless CBG, and a balalaika-uke hybrid. Couldn't resist CB Nation any longer...looking forward to getting helpful advice and lots of inspiration from everyone.
