Hi guys,
Just joined up yesterday.
My name's Darren, but everyone calls me Dash, (dunno why, I'm certainly not fast!).
Been playing guitar for a number of years, but never very well, and just got into playing the ukulele about three months ago. I was surfing the web looking for CB ukuleles when I discovered this wonderful site.
When I woke up this morning, I didn't have a CBG, but at 8:00pm tonight, I did.
Built this one today, not perfect, but looks pretty good, and sounds OK as well.
Piezo pickup is not soldered to the output jack yet, as I have never soldered before, and don't own a soldering iron. I've just twisted the wires onto the jack to get some sound, but will get my mate to solder it tomorrow, and maybe get him to teach me some basics, as I know this is not the last one I will build.
