My name is Steve and I'm an incredibly average guitar player, having messed with it for thirty-some years. One of my favorite guitars to play is a resonator I keep tuned to open D, and I was doing some research on the origins of slide guitar technique not long ago, which of course led me to CBGs. My son and I have made two of them so far: a six string electric one that works okay, but would make a purist cringe, and an acoustic four-stringer that is much better but again served to emphasize how much we need to learn. Good times, though. Looking forward to where this path takes us...
