Why the Ruby is a great first amp build

All,

New to the group, but I'm not shy about throwing in an opinion.  I agree with Manny 100%.  This amp was the first amp I built, and above is the reason why.  Just follow the picture, and you got an amp. It helped that all the parts were available at my local radio shack.   Seeing the "picture" of the circuit board helps you start to get a feel for understanding the schematics.  I didn't even own a soldering iron until I built this, and it turned out great.

    Ok, I look at schematics and think it's all Latin..lol..what's the dif in colors of wire. And where do you ground the pots? I can build guitars with little effort, but electronics..lol uggh.
