I'm going to get the dull-tipped ones at the top of my post and keep it for auto and household wiring and get me an adjustable station with the sharp tip for working with circuit boards. I hope to play with guitar and amp electronics quite a bit while I learn. I have a few bucks spending money for a change and think I should go ahead and bite the bullet.
Thanks guys! I can find the tips with the internal threads everywhere, but I can't find a fine point tip with the external threads like this:
These are the MT-1 tips. I can also find the other two replacement tips which resemble flat blade screwdrivers. The tip of the MT-1 could stand to be a lot sharper/smaller for circuit boards. I may go buy a station in the next few days... Other ideas?

Well you can never go wrong having the right tools. Too often, I can't afford the right ones. Gonna go ahead and jump in and get a station.
I second that, Paul :D
Thank you Paul.

Those solder stations are great. Saves you from pulling out your hair or throwing things in rage. Haha
Thanks, Brian. Several others have said the same. I'll try to get one sometime in the next few days.
Thank youYea, buy a solder station, you’ll be glad you did
I can get the MT-1s, but not the sharper pointed ones. Your search skills are a lot better than mine.
Lots of sets on Amazon that has the tip you want and Granger has them.

Just did a Google search and got 4 companies/websites that sell those.
