Hi Folks, I am not sure if I have ever mentioned my profession on here but I thought I would mention that one of the other hats I wear is a specialist in Computer Support and Computer Security. Consequently I am able to offer remote support on a pay as you go basis. Most of this support can be done remotely whereby I can sort out your problems over the internet by taking control of your Windows based PC (with your permission) and fixing the problem. The kind of issues I can fix (not an extensive list so please drop me a line if you have anything else you need help with): 1. Computer Virus removal 2. Software Installation on PC's 3. Software Upgrades on PC's 4. Software Installation on your website 5. Software Upgrade on your website 6. Website creation 7. Security Audit of PC 8. Security Audit of website 9. Data Recovery on PC - either remotely or by sending me your broken drive! 10. Tightening up of security on your website or PC I have professional qualifications in Computer Science and Security. I hold certifications as a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and also a CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) as well as my BSc in Computer Science as well as being in my second year of my MSc in Computer Forensics at the University or Westminster, London. For members of the Cigarbox Nation, I will offer a 10% discount on all work. There is no fixed price list as such and you will be given a quote before any work is done. Payment is taken by PayPal or a Personal Cheque from a UK Bank - or good old fashion cash. If I don't solve your problem, you don't pay a thing. I don't deal with hardware issues - like machines that are obviously broken. The machine must be able to be switched on and connected to the internet to be worked on. If you live in London, you can drop off your machine for repair. For work on your website, I can do this over the internet too. I do however offer data recovery from drives. Have you ever had a disk crash on you and lost all your valuable data? Chances are it can still be recovered and I have the expertise to do that. Have you ever accidentally deleted the only copy of your wedding video and have no backup? Why not let me have a go at recovering it for you? No job to small. Most jobs are charged at a hourly rate.
