I picked up this wine box at an auction earlier tonight, and really want to build something with it, but it's, well, a wine box, not a cigar box. Is it possible to build a guitar out of this thing? I really wanna give it a shot. Thanks.

I would do a 6 string Bo Diddly replica with some Filtertron HB's.
Fomhorach1 thanks for the tip on the old guitars for parts. I'll definitely do that . I'm kinda new to building cigar box guitar . Being creative has been a challenge for me, but I figure if that's something I wanna develop, I'll do it doing something I enjoy, which is guitars .
One build is never enough. Consider this box as your learning curve to creating something that makes sound. After you do it once you will learn so much that your second one can be planned better and all your worries will end up being your guide.
Tip. Find a second/third hand guitar (perhaps a nasty broken one) and raid it for parts.
Big or small, it doesn't really matter.
Btw, big deep boxes make the most sound.
How much bigger is it than a "traditional" cigar box? If it's much bigger, would it work better as a bass? Or does box size not really matter in relation to guitar style?
