    I use the 4 center strings of a 6 string set of D'Addario's A/D/G/B and tune them G/D/G/B.

    wouldn't that be GDGB ? anyways, any of the sets Gitty sells should work fine.

    i prefer D'Addario's myself. 13-17-26-36 if you like a lighter gauge, or 17-26-36-46

    for a heavier tighter feel. i like the lighter gauge for finger or fllat picking. i'de go

    heavier for slidework.
