Hey there folks, i just picked up a free box and it's not ideal but i'll make something out of it. The problem i'm noticeing on some paper-covered cigar boxes is the tobacco industry health warning stickers being plastered onto the box lid and sides. Now i can always cut the lid at the hinge and flip it over but that still leaves stickers on the sides.
My question is if any of you brilliant minds in the CBG community have some tips on removal of said stickers while leaving the paper covering unscathed. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there guys, just wanted to thank you all for your tips. I appreciate all your replies and that is what i love about being a member of this great community. Cheers fellow CBG-ers.
I normally lift a tiny edge with my fingernail, than dab Goo-gone under the edge until i've lifted it off. And if I do invariably scratch the paper beneath, I just print a replacement sticker reading " WARNING: The Surgeon General has determined this device to be lethal to Fascists." : )
Hey Mark, this has worked for me. I use a hair blower on high to soften the glue and peel away the sticker. Take care to do it slowly so as not to rip the paper on the box. This will leave glue residue that can usually be removed easily and quickly with lighter fluid. Do this as quickly as possible so as not to saturate the paper. The paper on a cigar box seems to have a sort of coating and is pretty tough and usually comes through unscathed.
