Nearly ready to assemble my first build! But my neck slot/notch is a little sloppy at the box. Is there some sort of trim or decorative cover up I can add to help hide the sloppy cut? Just curious what anyone else has done for this.

Go to your local hardware store and ask them for a couple paint stir sticks. They will probably hand you a half dozen. Cut one down in strips and make a picture frame around your neck. Then you can use the rest for backers for when you want bracing or to use where you might want longer screws, shims, even bridge material.
Sorry, Don. I forgot to post the link. Technophobe and trying to do too many things at the same time. Looks like Gus K. found it for you in the end. Thanks, Gus.
just find a nice bit of wood, or any material that you think will look good, cut it to fit nice around your neck, and trim the outside to whatever shape you like and glue it to the front face of the box, done well it can look like a feature instead of a cover up
