Hello friends...
some of you may know that I'm near to submitting a big update to my iOs fret calculator. This update (v3) has a lot of really cool features, a head designer, f-hole design tool etc but the big thing is it prints full size templates that you can glue on the wood and just saw right thru the lines..
Ok so Im after a small group (around ten devices) people who are interested in trying the app before its launch, and to help me hunt down bugs.
What I need from you
1. the unique identifier (UDID) from your device (yes if you have multiple devices we can do all, Its much nicer to use on iPad than iPhone, like many universal apps, and there will soon be an iCloud document synchronisation feature that you'll be handy to test ) I need this ID to add to my list of devices that I can build applications direct to, without going through the app store. It doesn't give me any key to your documents or break through the sandbox or anything like that, you have nothing to fear from it at all. You can get the UDID by connecting the device to itunes and going to the 'about' tab, click on the serial number and it'll change to the UDID.
2. You need to have a computer running iTunes (windows or mac is fine) in order to install the binary on your device.
3. The primary objective with this is to test (confirm really, im pretty confident) the accuracy of the printouts. The application supports the Airprint protocol to print directly from the device. I need you to generate a few printouts and measure them. ideally I'd also like you to build a guitar or two using designs you've made using the application. You needn't have a printer which implements airprint, there are a number of software emulators (many are free or small donation deals) for both windows and macOs which will advertise a printer as an airprint service and implement the protocol, these are what im really looking to test.. Just google AirPrint + windows or AirPrint + mac etc..
4. I'll need your feedback, ideally we'll be able to FaceTime/skype a few times, or email etc..
5. users who are already familiar with v2 of the app will definitely be appreciated
What's in it for you?
1. these features will have a projected pricetag around $30.. You get it for free, and before everybody else :)
2. Youll get to contribute to a really cool bit of software, maybe even get a credit on the website or something
3. I'll really appreciate it :)

I'm interested too! I have an android phone, kindle and pc which may get replaced with a mac mini in the next few days.
I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5 if you still need testers. I use Printopia on a Mac for printing to my network printers.
Awesome guys thanks :)
See if you can collect the UDID code for each of your devices and inbox em to me (don't publish em up here)
Thanks so much
