During the recent, discussions about the induction pickups, the topic of preamping was mentioned many 

times, but never really explained, can anyone please enlighten me on this topic, as to what method would be used with a cbg especially in conjunction with the new induction pickups/

I have obviously seen preamp units on semi accoustics for use in conjunction with piezo,s, either rod or disk,

but not with pickups.

i would be grateful for any or all help in this regard.
