Here she is. The outcome of my first attempt to build a CBG.
Before I go any further, I want to thank everyone here at CBN for the advise and incouragement you all provide. You have made CBN "THE GOTO" place for information when it comes to primitive instruments.

Thanks Jon, after looking at your builds that means alot to me. I know what you mean about the addiction. I'm aboub to start my first 3 stringer. I've almost got things together for a couple of different amps. And I'm trying to figure out how to talk my wife out of that old sewing machine in storage that hasn't been touched for over 12 years, I know. It would make a good bobbin winder and even has a foot control. Hey, what can I say...I got it baddddddd!!! All this and trying to learn how to play the darn things at the same time. But it's all good.
Your CBG looks great - very clean and classy - I wish my first build could have been so nice! The 12 step program for this addiction is a little different than the others. As you accept that you have the addiction and proceed through the first round of the 12 step program here you'll be building canjo's, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (maybe even more) string instruments, double necks, semi-tones, hand wound magnetic pickups, hand built amps, etc. etc.
Welcome to the addiction! :)
