So thought I would share my first "real" build....box from local cigar store, neck is a piece of maple from a cast off I found in a "free bin"; tuners, sound hole buttons, nut and bridge from CBGitty;

I built this one fretless for slide; and I glued the neck to the top of the box.  The tail is attached to the bottom of the box so it holds the box together via string tension.....we'll see if it stays that way!

I'm not much of a player but it sure sounds nice....I built a hubcap guitar a while back (pictures here somewhere) and I have a bought CBG that started me down this whole path....
