Not really ready for a quick build, but when people ask you to make one for an auction on short notice as your first build to help our men and women in uniform, there's only one answer...YES.
A pretty basic layout. Standard 1x2 maple neck that I used a 1/2" round over bit on the back, skull tuners, wood burnt fret marking and the logo for OEDWF / wording were die cut vinyl that I did. All covered in matt clear. The body was 1x2 for the frame and plywood back with EOD (unfortunately thin aluminum) plate, piezo pickup with volume and skull knob. Bridge and nut out of threaded rod.
Overall very happy with my first build. Had to be a little more basic than I wanted due to quick turnaround and being a beginner. It sounded actually pretty decent through a little battery powered amp. They were very happy with it though and think it will do good on Friday.

A really great build. I'm sure there's more than one guy going to want one of these. A design to be "copied" by admirers.
