Books and Gittyman manual

Hi all

I purchased Gitty Man manual - What a great place to start (apart from here) .It is written in a Step By Step approach - and is very easy to follow.Highly recommended to any body that wants to get into this contagious past time 

I have also purchased-David Suttons - Cigar Box Guitars and Mike Orr - Hand Made music factory -

-but I am still waiting for them to arrive.

    Same here...mine's about 80-percent done (I work a lot out of town), but it shouldn't be long now, before it's done....Mordacai's book is an excellent resource for the first-time builder!

    I also bought it and built my first one following his instructions, modified some to account for my different box style.
    I still have, and still play, that guitar. I got very good results with Mordecai's methods.

    Yes, I also have his manual, followed it, and ended up with a really nice cigar box guitar.
