These are pics of a Teac speaker I found in someone's trash. The cones look to be in really good shape. I didn't measure them (oops) but I'm guessing the bottom one is about 6" and the top one about 3". Now to figure out what I'm going to do with them!
The small one I'm thinking of installing in a guit to have its own amp/speaker, and the big one...? Make an amp out of a suitcase or something.
Any ideas? I've never made an amp. I'm open to counsel and advice.

The small one is a tweeter... intended to reproduce high frequencies. You wouldn't want to use it alone. It is fed through a capacitor to keep low frequencies from damaging it.

So, I could use them in building an amp, say, in a suitcase. I'd just have to use them both.

Ditch the tweeter... it's unnecessary...
