I am getting close to a finish on 3 Corvette wheel cover resonators. I usually put a preamp in each git. I realize that isn't necessary as you can send output to a preamp, but I like the idea of a self contained unit with a digital tuner. All that being said, due to space I am not going to be able to do that this time. I am going to be using a full length rod piezo and a Flatcat. In the past,I have used a 3 way switch where you could use either of 2 inputs or both together. Folks on here had said that a better way to do it was to have each signal go through it's own volume control (or was it volume and tone or just tone or just volume) and meet in the middle and go to the output. This my recollection of the wiring. I have been hit in the head a few times and don't always recall things exactly right. These are my first resonators so I am entering an unknown. I am open to all ideas as to wiring and the ohms of the hardware for the rod piezo and Flatcat.

You could also use single on/off switches (they are very small) with a single volume.
