2 String Bass help

I am new to this CBG thing, have built several 3 stringers, and was wanting to build a 2 string short scale fretted bass. I have a Gibson EBO in the basement and was curious if the scale length and fret spacing would  be the same. This and any other help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    You could use that scale length, certainly (30" from bridge to nut).  Frets would be the same then.  Good luck!

    EBs are nice basses, btw.  I have an Epiphone EB3 project I keep meaning to work on
