I found this T-moulding used in flooring and I noticed it has a rounded top to it that reminds me of a radiused fingerboard for a violin family instrument. I wonder if it would be possible to use a length of T-moulding for a fingerboard. I understand I would need to sand or chisel off the bottom "stem" of the T-moulding.

I also understand it'd be too wide for a violin but I could see it work for a cello or double bass type project. I'll have to try it out.
