I am building my own pre-amps and amps with many cool effects built-ins,
but I'm still looking for a reverb effect. Does anyone have any circuit diagrams
for a reverb that I could add into my 9v portable amplifier ?
Many thanks in advance :D

The Rebote 2.5 is a great delay/echo effect DIY project ... highly documented on the web.
internet... My local store have hard time to order some modules from outside our country, I never
noticed before but there seems to be more and more restrictions on modules for the european
community :-S for example most of the amps modules are not available, the regulators says some
are too powerfull, and some others have no "technical guarantees", go figure...
While at it, do you know of a cheap echo that could do the trick ? ...maybe that would
be even less expensive than the Belton module ;-)
You're obviously no stranger to electronics ... it's perfectly feasible to just buy the Belton module, add a few extra components and make a bare-bones version of those kits I posted ... you won't need the spendy stuff like the 3PDT footswitch or the enclosure.
But a little bit expensive and I was looking for a less expensive solution.
Maybe something like the Danelectro DJ4 Corned Beef here
...while I'm thinking about it, maybe some echo could do the same, I would not need a
true "studio reverb", because when playing outside anyway there is little difference and
noone can say. I'm looking for this kind of effect,to add to a homemade amp so it will have it's
own "reverb" one-of-a-kind :D
...That's what lead me to the TL084. I built a kit using the TL084 with 4 effects and it works great.
But I don't know how to link it to my amp. On my kit the TL084 is driven by pulse switches, but that
is not good enough for an amp I think, it needs some knobs so you can see if the effect is on or not.
I've asked questions about how to do it but no one could answer me.
I think, for us mostly blues players, it's a must have an amp with distorsion and reverb, or things of
any kind like this approaching enough. Something like the VOX DA5 but homemade in a cigar box ! :D
There's a great kit from BYOC http://www.buildyourownclone.com/reverb.html
A similar kit is available from GGG http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/projects/25-reverb/243-digital-...
Both of these kits are pedal-based, but can easily be converted to in-amp builds.
If you're hoping to get better than either of these kits, you're looking at a 'real' spring-tank and a driver.
I've found some diagrams using a TL084, what do you think of it ?
Does anyone have some experience with this ?
thanks again
