light bulb attenuator,, anyone built one, ??

just bought this 10 watt amp, it's a bit loud for home use, so i need to quieten it down a bit, but still get that overdriven tube sound, read a few articles about light bulb attenuator's, just wondering if anyone has built one, and if it worked ok, detail's/spec's would be appreciated, thank's,,

      There was a spec for a light bulb attenuator for the Epiphone Valve Junior a couple of years ago, you might be able to find it on one of the Junior modders sites.  It did work, apparently.  Cheers, Martin
