Wiring a pick up help needed

i’m going to put this five dollar make it Holla MGB  pick up in this box. I never wired one. Two questions. Which connections to the red and black go to when I solder them to the input jack? Secondly, do I have to ground it somehow? If so, how do I do that?

    Yep, that's what it looks like. The inside of the your output jack is ground. You can run a second wired from the ground to your metal bridge.

    1. Here’s what I think after watching videos I could find. Red goes to the outside terminal on output jack, black goes to the inside terminal, and then I solder a wire from the inside terminal and run it under the metal bridge to ground it is that right?
