Hey Jim, I use brass closet pole sockets. They can be found in the closet shelving section at lowes. They come 2 in a pack for $1.47. Opening is approx 1 3/8" and they come with the mounting screws. I use a 1 1/2" hole saw then drop em in. Hope this helps.

hi jim,lowes has polished brass tub drain inserts that look pretty sharp and are cheap,im going back and buy what they have,before they discontinue them,you know you find somthing good and then its gone. jim savage

I use tubfilters and paint them gold with paint for modelcars and such, looks quite nice i.m.h.o.Those look good!
