Ive made amps using other modules but what do the CBGITTY ones sound like especially when overdriven? A lot of solid state amps do not distort nicely. I have several tins and boxes crying out to be made into amp enclosures  and have not yet tried the above

  • Depends on what speakers you have.

  • I installed the Gitty 2.5 watt Artec amp circuit board with pre-wired leads into a cigar box to make an amp head.  It sounds very good through my custom speaker cabinet with a Eminence Ragin Cagin 10" speaker.  It's powered by a 8 volt LIPO battery and the tone is best with the amp adjusted to full volume.  I control the overall volume with the guitar volume adjustment.  It's plenty loud for inside a home.306709026?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • objectively I'd say they sound like a 9v transistor radio (similar electronics and speaker)

subjectively  I like the sound in clean and overdrive.

  • Didn’t Shane demo one in a video?

  • Suggestion, go to the board where they build amps, and you will probably get answers.
